二、初三英语导入课的课堂设计
笔者以Go for it! 九年级 Unit 8 I’ll help clean up the city parks. 的导入课为例,探讨初三英语导入课的教学方法。
Step 1 Warming up
1. Get the students to have a free talk about their ways of relaxing using “I would like to …”.
2. Show the students a picture of volunteer activities.
(设计目的:①把学生的注意力转移到课堂学习中来,复习旧知Unit 7 Where would you like to visit?;②利用图片展示,把“志愿者”引入话题。)
Step 2 Presentation
1. Get the students choose the right answers of VOLUNTEER and VOLUNTEER WORK.
* Volunteer is…
a. a people who has to help others.
b. a people who helps others willingly.
c. a people who must be young.
d. a people who is almost of all ages.
* To volunteer is…
a. to have to help others.
b. to help others willingly.
c. to offer help with pay.
d. to offer help without pay.
* Which is volunteer work?
a. Helping clean up Yingze Park.
b. Working in KFC or McDonald.
c. Telling stories to the sick children.
d. Drawing pictures for tourists.
e. Looking after homeless cats and dogs.
f. Giving out food at a food bank.
g. Helping the old.
(设计目的:①利用语境帮助学生理解 volunteer 及volunteer work;②在学生理解句子的过程中,可以互相交流。)
2. Show the students the phrasal verbs by showing the pictures, with the sentence patterns.
- What could I do to help people?
- I could help them in an after-school study program.
- What could I do to help people?
- You could help clean up the city parks.
- What could I do to help people?
- You could visit sick children in the hospital.
- What could I do to help people?
- You could help stop hunger in a food bank.

- You could help take care of the cats and dogs without homes.

- You could coach a soccer team for little kids.
(设计目的:①利用图片中所呈现的各种场景,直观的展现本课的重点句型;②通过
句型的直接呈现,学生归纳短语动词;③ 在学生操练句型的同时,学生用学过的短
语解释短语动词,并对短语动词有感性的认识。)
Step 3 Tasks
Show the three tasks that the students can choose any of them. Help the students make the group work by using the target language.
Task 1 Clean-Up Day.
Yingze Park needs your help on Clean-Up Day. If you like to work outdoors,
you could help…
Task 2 Volunteers Needed.
We are Volunteer Club. We have all kinds of jobs for people of all ages.
